Privacy Policy

A working draft prepared ahead of launch. It will be reviewed and finalised before BluffUp is published.

Draft for review — not yet legally finalised. Last updated 2026.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes how the BluffUp mobile game and playbluffup.com handle information. BluffUp is currently pre-launch; sections referring to store purchases and advertising apply once the app is published.

2. Information the app collects

BluffUp does not ask you to create an account and does not request your name, email address or contacts. Player names you type during setup are game input, not a profile.

  • No sign-up, login or user account.
  • No contact list, photo or location access required for gameplay.
  • Third-party services may process technical and device information (see §5).

3. Local game data

Game settings, selected modes, player names and progress are stored locally on your device so a session can continue. Deleting the app removes this data.

4. Custom decks

Custom word decks you create are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to a server and are not synced between devices.

5. Advertising services

The free version of BluffUp is planned to show advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Advertising services may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, app usage signals and network information in order to deliver and measure ads.

6. Consent and privacy choices

Where required, a consent prompt is shown before personalised advertising is enabled, and the choice can be changed later in the app. Device-level advertising controls provided by Android also apply.

7. Purchases

Premium upgrades are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google and are never received or stored by BluffUp.

8. Crash reporting and analytics

If crash reporting or analytics are added, this section will name each service and the categories of data it processes before that service is enabled.

9. Children

BluffUp is a party game intended for a general audience and is not directed at young children. Store-level age ratings and family policies apply where relevant.

10. Data retention

Data held on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Retention by third-party services follows their own policies.

11. Third-party services

Services used may include Google Play, Google Play Billing and Google AdMob. Their own privacy policies govern the data they process.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Requests can be sent to the privacy contact below.
